Computing Group
This group will offer assistance to U3A members with a range of instruction, training and practical support as requested and whenever practical. On-line or email meetings will take place at irregular periods to suit group members' needs, concerns and interests. They may be instigated by any member. |

Family History Group Members discuss topics of interest relating to their family history and share possible further resources and tools available for research.Challenges and successes are also discussed, and encouragement and support offered to members to continue their journey. |

Philosophy Group Leadership is shared among the group and is dependent on the topic being discussed. Philosophy may be considered “the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge or conduct”. There are spirited discussion at this group’s meetings. |

Irish Writers Group A new group for 2019. Each month an Irish Writer is chosen, and members read their own choice of that writer’s poetry, short stories and/or books in preparation for a lively discussion at the monthly meeting. New members are welcome. |

Numismatic Group The Numismatic group provides a forum for those interested in the collection and/or study of coins, banknotes and similar material. This group is under the auspices of the Waikato Numismatic Society. Visitors and new members are very welcome. |

Natural Environment of Hamilton Group This group explores venues around Hamilton including gullies, reserves, special gardens and spaces. Some walking is required, often gumboots. When the group has a specialist guide, each member contributes $5.00 toward a koha. |
