This is a book group with a difference. We change our focus yearly to authors from a particular country, and each month we nominate an author from our chosen country for everyone to read, We try to keep to a basic chronological order. We find our readings and discussions are varied and interesting"

This group will offer assistance to U3A members with a range of instruction, training and practical support as requested and whenever practical. We examine topics from any era suggested by members. The topics and presenters are decided in advance so that members may do some background reading if they desire. Listeners as well as contributors are always welcome.

Natural Environment of Hamilton Group
This group explores venues around Hamilton including gullies, reserves, special gardens and spaces. Some walking is required, often gumboots. When the group has a specialist guide, each member contributes $5.00 toward a koha.
