This month we each chose books from various Indian or related authors.

Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard by Kiran Desai (1998)

The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh (2000)

We all agreed that these authors, and others we have already read, take us into the cultural, religious, political, worldviews and geographic realms that most of the group have not experienced. We have learnt much.
